How to organize the network cabinet
1. Preparation. Inform users to analyze and organize the cabinet without affecting the normal operation of users. Then draw the circuit routing diagram and device location diagram in the cabinet based on the network topology, existing devices, number of users, and user groups. Then get the necessary materials: mesh clothes, label paper, various plastic ties.
2. Tidy the cabinet. Install the cabinet: Do the following: First, tighten the fixing frame with the screws and nuts on the fixing frame; Second, rotate the cabinet downward and install the movable wheel; The third is to adjust the baffle and add it to the fixed frame according to the position of the equipment. Sorting cables: Group network cables into groups. The number of network cables can be smaller than or equal to the number of network cabinets and cable managers on the rear. Bundle the power cables of all the devices together, insert the plugs through the cable holes on the rear, and find the devices through a separate cable manager. Securing devices: Adjust the baffle plate in the cabinet to an appropriate position so that the administrator can see the operating development of all devices without turning on the cabinet door, and add the baffle plate appropriately based on the size of the device. Leave a certain gap between the baffles. All the switching technology devices and routing devices in the cabinet are not properly placed according to the drawing.
3. Post work. Combined power test: After confirmation, turn on the power and conduct network connectivity test to ensure the normal operation of users - this is what is important. Document update: You can analyze the contents of the cabinet and update the document information. Redraw the device layout diagram and network cable connection diagram. The number of the production equipment and the identification of the network cable should be indicated on the drawing for inspection and reference, which can be done by adding the user name as a technology into the drawing process.
